Suggestions for a cool automatic or hand-wind watch for my 9 year old nephew

My nephew is ready to retire the Lego watch I gave him last year. I'd like to hear suggestions for something cool to get for him that is auto or manual wind.Prefer diver-style, as he digs my watches with rotating bezels (yesterday he flipped over the Megalodon ).We're not in the $500+ range yet, but maybe this will be the start his own watch-box!........

For an inexpensive watch, this one is a pretty good choice. It has day/date and an easy to read face. So far, I like it and I have gotten compliments on it.
