Elgins best movement?

After hearing many times How Hamilton's 770 caliber is considered their best wristwatch movement, as far as design, performance, easiness to work on etc. It got me thinking, what movement would be Elgin's best wristwatch movement or at least would be comparable to the 770? My guessas far as competition to the 770would be would be the free-sprung balance movements. They were quite advanced for their time,and they were approved for railroad use. anyone have any thoughts?........

It's nice for the price. The gold color has changed, though. Not too heavy - not too light. I will wear it occasionally. Delivery was not right away from the vendor. I think it took two weeks.

Omega 3577.50.00, Really good!

This watch is absolutely beautiful with its diamond accents and abolone like center. Its adjustable straps make it easy to fit any size wrist. It definitaly looks better on than in the picture.

I was looking for a nice watch for work at the Department and came across this unit which works great at keeping time! The wristband is light and comfortable and it fits perfectly. It bably works best for an office setting or light duty outside work. I'm happy with my purchase.
