So Why All The Fuss?
I'm guessing this auction was for a Reagan? With an enamel dial..It sold for $265 - about three times what Reagans with applied gold numerals achieve. Fair enough you say - a common enough occurrence with original enamel dials.BUT - the dial looks a bit too good to be true (ie I'm guessing it's a refinished dial??) and it doesn't sit square within the bezel. So - is it a refinished dial and why is it askew - and, if this is true, why did someone pay $265?stales........

Gotta love when a watch fits like a glove. The IWC caliber 401 ultra-thin wears as if it only weighs a couple grams, and Adam's ribbon lug caliber 89 (which I wore for a day) was so well shaped it was like it was molded for my wrist. Well, the postman just rang the bell to deliver the 70's Pellation and it's a pleasure to have on - even with a brand new strap!It's a very nice profile and is well balanced. Gotta say I'm feeling very happy (almost smug for lack of a better description) about ge........
