I was recently poking through mail order watch site (parts, tools, movements) and came across the movement used in my Hamilton for a paltry $195 new and it got me to wondering if rather than having my watch serviced in the long run (even the short run) Im better off just replacing the movement.A service on my watch is in the neighbourhood of $130 and if Im doing that every 4 years it wont take long before I far exceed the retail replacement cost of jus........
