Looking at Leo's post...I could use some help as well.
Hoping for better results as this watch is 'newer', but right now i am puzzled.I am guessing this watch is from early 80's as later Cellini models have the model numberand serial number engraved on the 'outside' of the caseback. This is one of those models where the engraving is on the inside. I have this watch FS on one of the auction web sitesand I am getting bombarded with questions about the 'model number'. My watchmaker is out of town and I have no way to open it otherwise, as I'm supe........
Scratch Removal
Are there one or two recommended ways to remove (reduce) superficial scratches from plastic watch crystals. I am hoping to find some sort of household product that I may already have, as opposed to purchasing a new container of "ABC" and using it one time.Would a low abrasive like Flitz or Mothers polish (I already have those) only worsen the problem?Suggestions?........
