Can ETA 955.112 Quartz be swapped for Mechanical or Auto in Hamilton Khaki?
Hello all, I have Hamilton Khaki "Swat" edition, which is a 38mm cased quartz watch with the ETA 955.112 movement. The movement keeps having problems, and instead of just replacing it, I was wondering how hard/difficult it would be to put in a mechanical or automatic movement instead? I know Hamilton has plenty of 38mm mechanical or automatic models, and I am not sure if the cases are different. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know by posting here or e-mailing. New Tissot arrived, but big problem.
Well the Tissot I've wanted for a long time arrived. Take it out of the box and see that it isn't running. I figured the crown may have been pulled out. Nope. Well, I tried the chrono, it works, so not a battery problem I assume. I played around with the pushers and crown and no dice, the time keeping function isn't working. Any ideas? 2 Batteries? Or broken movement?........
