Last Sunday I went to Belgium...
....and picked up a few of my vintage Omega's.My watchmaker did a overhaul on them.I picked up 5 but I have only pictures of two of them, rest will follow soon..First this one, bought it on Ebay for only a few $$, worth a try I thought...When the postman brought it it was horrible, the case was very dirty and the movement made a terrible noise..But then again, what can you expect for only $30,-.....After my watchmaker was done with it it looked like this...Needless to tell you all that I am VERY........
One of my first Hamiltons
This was one of my first few Hamiltons that I started my collection with. It's a circa 1923 Silver Cushion Round, 986A. If I remember correctly, I think I got this for about $225 on Ebay. I did have to redo the hands and dial and of course a service, but I really didn't realize how scarce this one was at the time I acquired it. I thought that I'd share it with you all. Norm........
