Omega 2975 on its way
I am excited in that I have a vintage 2975 on its way. Once I get it into my hands I will post pictures before I send it out to get it conditioned properly. When I run it on the Omega website I get it as a Seamaster Special...no clue why its special but it does have a gold cap with SS back that has the large gold emblem on back (maybe that why it is a special). I do not have the original steel band but am trying to locate one. Could use any help in this...but I dont even know the band number........

Well, the watch went to a different restoration expert than originally planned. (cost vs. value of finished product determined that) He was recommended to me by a couple people and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work, but told me right upfront that I'll need a new bezel insert ($66 shipped - already tracked one down).
