Picked up this pretty little silver Wired Alba (Seiko) LCD lady's watch model W540-4A00 in a thrift shop the other day. Price was fifty cents, needed a battery. Replaced same, it works! But I need a copy of the instructions to set it. It has 12/24 hour, 5 memos, lots of functions but I have no idea how to access them. Citizen Eco Drive Repairs?
I am completely in the dark on how to go about getting a couple of repairs on my Eco Drive. I took it to my local watch guy, and he said to send it away to Citizen, but I don't even know where to start. Basically, the screw down crown won't stay screwed down (stripped threads, I'm assuming?), and there's a cloudy spot on the crystal.I think there are instructions on their website, so I'll probably just jump in there. Has anyone had experience sending something to Citizen for a repair? Also, ........
