Lord Elgin 25 Jewel Swiss Movement is Here
Just got the watch this afternoon. It looks amazingly nice (at least to me). It is a Lord Elgin, with 25, Selfwinding, and Swiss on the dial. It measures 32mm bezel to bezel from 10 o'clock to 4. Condition-wise, I'd say this watch was only worn for very special occasions and otherwise, it sat in a drawer.The rolled gold finish is completely intact and not worn through. The bezel and lugs show very few hair line scratches. The back of the case shows hair line scratches, but at arms length y........

aah ....they seemed to have cleaned up ....I did run into a slight problem....the Hamilton's back was slightly loose, so I snapped it down and now I cant't get it off anymore ! ...but before I snapped it back on ...I did check it out , but it was late,...the movement says Illinois, and Swiss both I think ......Here's the Hamiton....does this one have a name ? ...and it's from 1956........and of course, I am out of the lighter tan bands .....wouldn't you just know it ......and the back ....( oh........
