Gruen Triple Date update
Back in October, I purchased this Gruen triple date, which was described as serviced, as having a pristine dial, and all functions working. I paid a pretty penny for it.When I got it, the dial was scratched up and the date functions didn't work. I sent it off to my watch guy, who determined that several parts were stripped and he couldn't source any replacements.From there, it was sent back to the seller. They kept me up to date, but finally today, they emailed me and said they couldn't find ........
Anyone have a 9 inch wrist?
I'm curious as to whom if any of you have a 9 inch wrist. I ask because last night I was watching ShopNBC. This show was featuring Swiss Legend watches. One model they were selling was quite large, I think it was 52mm. It was thick, too. Overall a big watch. The sales guy who works for ShopNBC was trying it on and notice his wrist was too small to wear it. The strap needed more holes. He did suggest with a straight face that you could "punch your own holes" if it were too big.Okay, back to my or........
