My first post and my first Hamilton, what should I get?
Hello all, I would like to purchase my first Hamilton wrist watch and am looking for advice on what I should consider. To be more specific I would like. something vintage, earlier then 1970 under $1200 If I could afford it I would go for a piping rock, white gold. Aaron Faber had a beautiful one I checked out but at $3200, it was just out of my range right now. I am also considering some Gruens and Elgins but that is another thread for another time. So what are your favorites? Thanks in advance.........

Well, not really, but she seems to be heading in that direction. She has become more interested in watches the last couple years and yesterday took a pretty big leap on her own.
