I have a gold plated pocket watch of an unknown Swiss maker in a case by the Illinous Watch Case Co. It was made in the mid 1930s we think and i inherited it from my grandfather in 1969 and the plating is now very thin and worn away in places and i wondered if the general feeling is to leave it as it is being original or have it replated so that it looks good again ?Many t........
