FOLKS: Have created this thread from the discussion of movement sizes initiated in the Rutledge thread.Been into this vintage watch thang for 18 months now - but never understood what size of movement is what - and why.Was there some sort of convention decided by someone sometime?Just looking at the numbers (6/0 etc) - what do they tell one?........

Reading material

After being promised months ago for a press kit and catalog information by my Hamilton contact person (I'm still waiting btw), I submitted a request for a current printed catalog online through the www.hamiltonwatch.com site about a week ago. The person in charge was out of the office so I received an automted response. Well, guess what arrived today. . . the catalog that I ordered a week ago. Speedy processing and a very nice addition to my collection. The pix are better than the website.I ........
