Chrono 6000 Tag

I have an older Tag in my collection. I recently sent it back to Tag for a "tune-up" and reconditioning. I am paying $465, which is pretty pricing for a watch I only paid $2k for in 1999. Anyway, they wanted another $800 for a new band. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good place to buy another band for this watch, I like the watch but at that price Im better off just buying a new watch. Ideas? Thanks!........

Beautiful & classic looking watch. Fits my wrist nicely & not hanging off like others do. Box it arrived in was rather cheap looking & falling apart but it did not affect the watch.

I was looking for something that was simple and rugged for daily and field (fishing/hiking use). The leather band has a comfortable feel to it.I am looking for years of use from this watch.
