Oddball Hamilton Pocket watch model 910 & 941

My grandfather died recently and being his apprentice he left me his jewelry repair shop. Going through his things I found a Hamilton pocket watch. The movement is engraved 910 but the serial numbers on the movement and the case don't match. According to info I found through reading other threads on the forum I found that the case is a 14k from a 941 made between 1899-1900 and the movement is a 910 made in 1917. Has anyone ever seen any combinations like this before? Does it add to or take away ........
