Hey guys !I kind of gave you guys a sneak peek of this Elgin the other day but it was not fully assembled, I was still doing some final testing.Well, testing is now complete ! ! !This one might just be my Elgin masterpiece ! ! ! ! I snagged this one down under in Australia.This is a 1918 Elgin Trench Watch, 15 jewels, grade 464, size 3/0s with a bold Roman numeral RED XII dial.The enamel dial is in near perfect condition and these are the correct hands for this dial.The RED XII is gleaming ! ! !........
Vintage Hamilton/Illinois Movement ID - help needed.
Found in the bottom of a box of mostly dead Timexs and kids plastic watches at a flea market.Dial is 21mm x 22mm. Movement diameter is ~23mmNo crown, but by manually winding it will tick for several seconds.Anybody know the approximate vintage? Would there be more info under the dial?Thanks, Brian........
