A new omega "only" store has opened in Philadelphia. Govberg Jewelers at Comcast Center will carry only omega and according to the owner, Danny Govberg states "The Comcast Center is a state-of-the-art building, and the best of what our city has, so we decided to sell the number one watch in the world".The store will carry approximately 400 timepieces and is about 900 square feet with white marble walls and "minimalist" lighting. I haven't been to the store yet, but will report back once I visit.........
Novice Automatic Question...
I've been a big automatic fan and I've bought some very modest ones where I could. One thing I noticed is that the escapement wheel moves faster if I shake the watch harder. Does this affect how it keeps time? If I am running, and my arms are moving, is the accuracy of the time keeping affected over the 35 minutes that I am running at a faster, sustained speed?I noticed this with a skeletal wind-up too.Thanks for the education.........
