Conflict with service center, can someone advice me what to do ?
In order not to repair the watch under guarantee, service center told that there are scratches on the watch and impact marks on the caseband. I did not agree with the opinion and wrote to brand manager of Panerai. After evaluating the watch he shared the same opinion. But I am %100 sure that the watch was not subject to any serios damage. What should I do right now, can someone advice ?........
WR affects service time?
I am sorry if the question is stupid but does the fact that a (mechanical) watch is more or less water resistant affect the interval time required between service? The question arose after a discussion I had with a friend and comes from the observation that the watch that (as far as I know) has the longest interval time recommended between services is the vacuum sealed quartz GS, it sounds reasonable that if a watch is sealed, as in divers watch, less dust gets in and lubricants does not get old........
