Unknown seller at public sale had about 1/2 usual prices on many 1900+&- pocket watches in nice condition. Gold ones carefully separated out to keep from father's collection. I bought 6. Next day went back to buy more. Saw a very nice 18 size 1891 Elgin expensive at $200. And bought it only. Days later saw 14K mark on inner cover, not on inside back cover as usual. Should have known it was solid gold from deep carved case.........
