Antique Kemp & Wilcox - Case Help Needed
Hi,a friend, who can't speak English, asked me to post here. He has an English pocket watch movement from Kemp and Wilcox. Fact: there is no winding stem sticking out of the movement, nor is there a hole for the winding stem. Instead there is a gear on the movement. So he needs a case with a gear, which engages the movement's gear. Does anybody know, what I am talking about? Does anybody have such a watch? What my friend is looking for is, aside from the actual case, the right English word. How ........
Helbros Watchband Confusion!
OkI got this very pretty little 14K white gold Helbros vintage ladies watch and I can't figure out how to thread a band for it! It's got that matching clasp that's just really prettybut should have come with instructions! I would appreciate it if somebody could give me a clue on this thing. Do I just buy some black ribbon and thread it? If so, how??? Or, does it take some kind of specialty band? The strap width on the case is narrower than that on clasp.
