Vintage Seiko info
I was told that the watch I have had since I was 17 (now 45) was intended for the Asian market. It is a Seiko Sports 100 (8229-8019). I have for many years found it very difficult to find parts for it, maybe because of the age, but I was thinking another element that is impacting parts availability is the fact it was made for Asian market. Can anyone confirm this, and can anyone offer a source of replacement parts from Japan side? I also have a Seiko Sports 100 (8229-602A) that I need a rotating........

Hi, does nayone no anything about this timepiece, I've been told by a friend that he think sit's from around 1914, but Ihave no idea how to get to the movement, it looks like the front may have to come out to do that and as it's not my watch I don't want to risk it.........
