What is this late 40's Hamilton??
My Dad received this watch from his parents for an engagement present. He got engaged in November 1949. So it is most likely from somewhere between 1947 to 1049. Unless he is confused and it was actually a wedding present (1951) or even a high school graduation gift (41?). But he is pretty sure that it was an engagement gift.Does anyone know what it is?And what about the band. It says 14kt on the clasp. Was this a standard band back then or was this some kind of an upgrade at the time?I do ........
