Is this women's Girard-Perregaux worth fixing up?
About 10 years ago, I got 3 watches at a yard sale for $15. One was an old Seamaster, one was an Elgin, and the last was a womens Girard-Perregaux. It wasnt much to look at. The crystal was scuffed and some of the gold tone had worn off. It looked a bit 70s-ish and a bit cheap. I tossed it in a drawer.Reading a little bit on this site has got me wondering though. GP is certainly a venerable marque. Did they go downscale for awhile in the 70s with the advent of quartz movements, or wer........
