Grandpa's Lester-back from the dead!

I would hope my grandfather would be proud. I finally finished the restoration (my first) of the Hamilton Lester he received in 1942. It was not running when I got it, and it looked like this:I cleaned and oiled the 982 movement, replaced the mainspring and crystal, ditched the awful stretch band and replaced it with ostrich, and here is the result:I ended up using a parts 982 movement to supply a few items that I managed to break during my learning process, but all in all, a rather successful........
