Period appropriate Hamilton watch boxes
Am eagerly awaiting my "new" Hamilton Bradford from the watchmaker, and would like to pick up a Hamilton box to store it in. While you can often find vintage boxes online the problem is knowing which style is correct. Does anyone here know what a Bradford would have been packaged in during the late 50s? For other Hamilton models does anyone know of a resource that shows which boxes were used during certain time periods and for certain models? Not having much luck with internet searches thus far.........
watch winder problem
I have several automatic watches, a couple of Valjoux 7750's, 2824's, etc. My steinhausen watch winder will not keep any of them wound for more than a day or two, no matter which direction I have it wind them. Any thoughts on why this would be if the thing seems to be turning per its specs?Thanks........
