What do you know about Swank watches? (c. 1960s)

My mother just gave me her old diving watch from ~1967.It's branded SWANK, the model name is Gran Sport 150. Says FRANCE at the 6' position, and it has a 17 jewel automatic movement.This one is even on the original strap! (that's too short for my wrist )So does anybody know anything else about this watch? I'll put up pics later.........

This is a well made, pretty watch. The diamonds on the outer edge are very tiny. If I knew they were that , I would have bably looked for a different watch.
