Can you make your automatic run faster?

I've got my Speedmaster Reduced 3510. Since I bought it pre-owned it looses about 8-10 seconds in 24 hours. It runs slower if it is kept off my wrist.I know that if you place an auto a certain way [when not wearing it] you can make it run slower. Is there a position I lay it down at night to make it run faster or loose less time?Its not a big deal for me as I can live with 10 seconds.
