Just coming back from playing around ( again ) with TagHeuer Aquatimer Chronotimer, Planet Ocean SS, and the Oris Diver Chrono at the local ADs These three at least have been on my radar since last yearI really appreciate if anybody can give me some opinion about above selections , ruling out : reselling value & quartz vs auto parameters...I understand as this is Oris forum, but im trying post this thread other forum as well as to get better understanding overallmany thanks........
Longevity of chrono watch movements?
I'm generally a big fan of chrono and chrono-like watches. I'm a sucker for the added dials and buttons.Question: on such watches you generally have a choice to allow all or most of the chrono movements/complications to be on or off. For example, you can have it set to the chrono minutes and or hours options "on" all the time, or off, etc.Does the settings here have any effects on the longevity of the movement? Is it best to leave all complications on, off, or does this have no bearing on the is........
