Experience with after market parts for SMP

I wanted your thoughts or experiences about after-market parts for a SMP.My 2254's bezel has faded enough for me to notice the difference and I want it black again. I have searched for an OEM bezel insert but found only the entire bezel which costs around $220 from Omega of Ofrei among other sources.On eBay there is a seller that is selling an after market insert. Has anyone bought an after market insert or other part for their SMP?........
