Vintage bracelet

I got a supposedly vintage Omega bracelet, form the bay, according to the seller, it's genuine Omega...It looks fine, but something I don't find good, and that's why I'm thinking is a fake is the following:The bracelet is gold plated, but it has the side of the links, stainless steel color (silver)I've thought that the gold plated should go everywhere, but honestly, I've never had a vintage bracelet, so maybe the technology back on those days, didn't allowed to "plate" the sides??? The Gruen pictured below appears (to my novice eye) to be in excellent original condition. I have no reason to post the photos other than I haven't before, and I think I'll be wearing it for the first time today. These are the photos from the seller. One of these days I'll have to get around to taking some of my own watch photos.........

For the price, this is not a bad piece. I am a bit disappointed by the thin band. Also, it seems that the white color is a bit more creamy on the dial than on the band. I did not return this watch but I also don\'t love it.
