Ultimate Watch With A Connection To Sailing or Nautical

My greatest hobby and interest in life is sailing. This is why for my next birthday (and it is an important one!) I would like to purchase a watch from a brand that is strongly connected to sailing or nautical activities. The only other feature about the watch that is a must is a large face :).So far I have found and absolutely love the Hublot Big Bang, however it costs over double of what I'd like to spend...So what ideas have you got that may fit into my above criteria :)?........

Ulysse Nardin Ulysse Nardin 34531, Really good!

I was looking for a goldtone dressy watch. This is perfect. I also received it 2 days after I ordered it which I found very impressive since it is such a busy season. I plan on ordering in at least one more color to have on hand for gifts. It does have a large face on it which I normally wouldn't buy but I love it on this watch.
