  For 2009 Martin Braun introduces 2 new models. The Hyperion is a 44mm diameter flying minute tourbillon with retrograde moon phase and date displays. The similarly-sized Kephalos Heliozentric combines a multitude of complications including an annual calendar with retrograde date, plus day, month, position of the Earth in its orbit around the Sun, Equation of Time, and a 24 day/night display.   A big hello to all UK members I'm already the proud owner of a Seamaster GMT, but am becoming tempted to add to that an SMP 'Bond', with blue face. I have umm-ed and ah-ed about getting a pre-owned (as part of me still prefers the older, pre-applied markers, style) but I can't see many for sale which are either (a) good value and (b) don't have very scratched bezels. (and I'd rather not get ripped........

  i passed an AD today (not the one i use BTW). they had an enormous poster advertising the new ploprof 1200m. ad. read: "designed to take your breath away" (probably the price) "sharkproof bracelet" (!!!). that last bit just completely creased me up.........
