  A Daytona visited the 2nd highest point in the continental US 3 weeks and I posted about it somewhere else, but if you didn't go there, it's now here. • Service-clean and adjust advice

  Wife's watch after three years is now showing signs of losing more time. The AD relayed this is within the normal period to have the first service. The service center they referred me to has this service interval priced at $350. This is the first mechanical I've needed to have serviced so I'm not aware what is the usual range to pay. Full disassembly, clean, lube and adjustment, along with polish........

  A work-related travel to the Middle East forced me into a brief stop/layover in Dubai. I ventured to the Dubai main shopping mall where I stumbled with various watch boutiques from many of the big hitters I described the scene to my wife as the "food court" of watch stores! This gave me an opportunity to play with a new camera app on my iPhone and see first hand some of the many new models ............
