• 2 neat lil' Elgin's

  I actually found these in my desk, I'm not sure where they came from and I don't remember them, but ah well!Neither of them work sadly, both could use some TLC. The gold one seems to be an older late 1800's, the white one maybe a teens-20's or even 30'sOne of the gears fell out when I opened it, can it be put back?Not much else I can say, I wonder what finish is on the silverish Elgin's Dial?........

• Overhauled an Elgin Pocket Watch

  Since completing the TimeZone courses, I have tinkered on a few watches, including manual wind Benrus wrist watches and a 7750. This was my first pocket watch overhaul and the first without using any diagrams.   I was recently looking through my drawers and uncovered an old fossil watch (LI-1690). Its a toy story 2 limited edition watch. The watch was made back in 1999 when the movie was released. Only 3000 of this watch were made and I have #0284.
