• Just Arrived: Elgin with 761 movement

  I bought this one a couple of weeks ago, but had to send it off to the watchmaker as the crown fell out when I tried to set the time. Additionally, my watch guy found this, a broken spring lever:Overall, the case is in excellent shape and the back looks new as well. The silver dial shows an even patina, which to the eye (not the camera), almost looks like it was the original motif. The crystal ........

• My first Orient watch.

  I originally ordered this watch as a birthday gift for my friend's son, but it didn't make it on time. So, I decided to keep it for myself. BTW, as I had a brand new 007, I gave that to my friend's son. I'm sorry that it's not a Seiko or Citizen. It's my very first Orient watch 2ER00001B. The in-house Orient Caliber 48743 has been keeping accurate time in the last 24 hours. I'm not going to get in........
