  I can only assume that the produces of the various CSI shows are watch people because it's not at all uncommon to spot nice watches on the cast....omega, Cartier, Panerai....even Kobold. The last couple of episodes of CSI: Vegas, both my wife and I spotted Nick wearing a Pepsi GMT....did anyone else catch it?........
