  On modern watches I take the type of crystal to be one indicator of quality. When looking at vintage watches, however, I don't have any idea what is considered a good quality crystal. I wouldn't consider buying a modern watch for more than a minimal price if it had a glass, plastic, acrylic, etc. crystal.   I have caseback openers, screw drivers and a nifty professional pin pusher that works like a pair of pliers. I keep saying I'll take photos, but I forget or get lazy.I find the pin pushers the most handy.How about you?........
