• Q: Regular manual winding necessary with automatic watch?

  Hi there,Four weeks ago, I bought a "Die Fliegeruhr UTC" from IWC. During the last four weeks, the watch has stopped running twice. I needed to manually re-wind it to make it work again. I wear the watch on a daily basis and only take it off at night.Is this normal? I assumed that an automatic watch never needs to be wound manually. The power reserve is supposed to be 42 h, so taking off the watch........
