• Eterna movement rust

Last week I took it to a local watchmaker to have it cleaned, and he called me back an told me it was pretty rusty. He said there wasnt any he could do. Could the rust be removed from the movement? Is it worth trying to save the watch or should i just take it as a loss and look for another ........
