  Hello,I recently purchased my first Omega, a pre-owned Seamaster. The buyer indicated it was manufactured in 2002. Is there a way to authenticate the manufacture date? The serial number is in the 603660xx range. The only paperwork I received were two small booklets with operating instructions and the other a worldwide list of repair centers.Thanks,N.K.........

• About To Buy My First Vintage Omega Seamster

  Hi everyone, I just want to work out some pre purchase jitters here from an Omega newbie.So the watch I'm looking at is a 1959 Seamaster caliber 591, model number 14704. It has some dings and some patina on the face, but is in overall good working order and keeps time well. It has recently been cleaned and lubricated with a new o ring installed. The genetman is asking $350 for the watch. I know it........
