So, I was telling Chung how much I loved the GMT II C in two tone that Christiaan kindly let me borrow while we were in NYC...And Chung says "You should get an 18k GMT II with the green dial - the gilt writing on that dial POPS"Well, I haven't been able to get that idea out of my head since he said it.I need more WBT's! What does"cld" mean?
I've noticed on several late 1940's and early 1950's Hamiltons the letters "cld" below the Hamilton nameplate on the dial.What do these initals stand for?thanks.........
