• An Oddball With A Story

  I just got a watch, a real oddball, but it fits perfectly with my collection. It's a pocketwatch - kind of...It's REALLY SMALL!! Just to show you HOW small, here it is with a 16s Hamilton 992E, and a 10s Elgin 546...Really, it's a wristwatch with no lugs, and a bow. Kind of funny, since nowadays so many watches seem to be pocketwatches with lugs. It's running a 19j, 13/0 sized Elgin 732 movemen........

  My brother (who knows about my passion for vintage watches) told me about this listing and I picked up this item a few weeks back:Now, you're probably looking at it and thinking "that's a wierd looking pocket watch". It's actually a stop watch - sterling silver case and from approximately ca. 1890 or so. It is working and looks to be in remarkable condition (at least to me). What's interesting abo........
