  Hi there,Having a watch with a reasonable water resistance rating (120 m in my case) permits me to experiment a bit. Here are the results of this evening. Equipment used: 5 Mpixel camera on tripod; one larger bowl and one small one, on the bottom of the larger one, upside down; running water and of course a watch!Taken with flash, which lights up the entire bowl:The little owl is for slightly tilt........

• Can anyone help me identify a DOXA watch?

  I know Ebay is flooded with Ukrainian dealers taking pocket watches and converting them to wristwatches. However, I have a watch which is clearly too thin, and without the dust covers, but who knows. It has a new dial to look like a sub in color only, but the movement I'm sure is 1940 or so. The position of the sub seconds hand is suggestive of a pocket watch, and I can find similarities to other ........
