• HELP! Speedy or Seamaster?

  Hi I am in a tough situation. I wanted to have an Omega either Seamaster or a Speedy. I went to visit an AD at my place. And told me Seamaster is much a better watch than a speedy ("you don't go to the moon anyway?, right?"..AD). Anyways, there were some issues on the caliber 2500 which worries me much and the reliability of the 1863 on a 3573.50.00 Black Speedy which makes me lean on this one for........

  I will be in Chicago thanksgiving week 21-26 Nov. Having seen Stan's post on the Elgin Museum, I will hire a car and go for a day trip up there - and take my Pershing with me for a trip home.Does anyone have any other suggestions of things to do, places to visits, or great junk shops to visit? I'll be staying just off the golden mile, so downtown - but I could keep the car longer for compelling r........
