• Service Question

  I just purchased a 1996 Seamaster a couple of weeks ago and noticed that it's running very slowly when set to the US atomic clock and its power reserve is a joke (way off of 44 hours.) When I have the funds to get it properly serviced, I'd like to do it the right way. Should I get it serviced at Ben Bridge (an AD) or should I have it sent to the Omega Authorized Service Center in Dallas? Also, ........

• Seikosha Pocket chronograph, ww2

  Hi all,I have a question as to my ww2 Seikosha marked pocket chronograph, 17,1/2 ligne, 17 jewel...Was the movement imported from Switzerland and later marked Seikosha on the movement?The movement looks like a Valjoux 54. The Valjoux stamp which is usually on the movement below the balance has been milled away and replaced with a number. Was this movement made in Switzerland or made in Japan?I kno........
