As I am having a lot of fun with my G9 I noticed a weekly contest on my favorite Canon G9 forum and the theme for this week was "TEXTURES".Being a WIS, of course the first thing that popped in my mind was the texture of MOP dial how much of a PITA it is to photograph...AnywayI tried :)Did not realize..........but this 16628 YM picture has a LOT of 'textures' :"Cement-Straw-Fabric-Brushed-Polish........
Stopping your watches
I recall some talk a while back that owners of the Speedy Pro were recommended by some sources to run down the power reserve of their watches. I believe the reason might have been to allow the various power bands/levels to be used.Apparently it's good to perform this at a frequency of a month or every few weeks. I'm not sure if it will actually affect the running of the watch if one doesn't. So, h........
Smooth seconds hand with no tic tic tic.
I have a 69 accutron and I love the smooth seconds hand that just looks like it is sweeping around with no tic tic tic. My question iswhat other watches out there do this.........
INCOMING: Nice Tissot after christmas present from myself!
Got a little bit of christmas money so I decided to pick up this little beauty used on a whim. The seller claimed it was a Limited Run, number 164 of 264, but I'm pretty sure L164/264 is the model.It's a Tissot LeLocle L164/264. Not sure how old it is, but I can't find much info on it. The current offering LeLocle doesn't look much like it. A quick google search found a stainless steel version........
