I quite like this watch even though it is relatively simple. Just good old fashioned good looks - Parmigiani style. Really a good formal watch for their collection. Fogged - what to do?
I wore my old Sub for the morning walk yesterday. It's hot and muggy here and I sweat freely. When I finish my walk, I always rinse off whichever braceleted watch I'm wearing in tap water, being careful to avoid the crown area. Never had a problem. I waited until the Sub had dried off, then continued wearing it until I changed for lunch. I didn't see anything wrong. I got up in the dark this morni........
Automatic watches, left motionless..how long before they are wound up completly?
I just bought a zeno xl watch, and have had it on my wrist for about 2 hours. It keeps stopping every five mins!!! Then I move it around on my wrist, and pull the crown out and put it back in..then it works for another five mins. This is getting really old fast. Do I have to keep moving my arm to get this thing to keep time?........
Hackable Quartz?
All but one of my automatics have the "hack" feature, where the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out. I couldn't remember ever seeing that feature on a quartz watch but, this morning, I was reminded that "The Watch That Won The War" has it. I was pleasantly surprised at the reminder.Anyone else have a hackable quartz?........
