• How Robust is the Valjoux 7750 Chronograh Movement?

  The manual on my chronograph has a big caution not to hit the lower (reset) button while timing is in process. Reality being what it is, I have done this a couple of times. Each time, I have quickly recognized what happened, and have not tried to force the button in or push it repeatedly.   My wife is looking at the Franck Muller Cintree Curvex and omega Datejust. Both are in stainless steel. The Franck Muller is quartz and the omega is automatic. My wife does not care much about the mechanism. She can customize the omega somewhat more with her choice of dial and bezel. They are both very pretty watches.
