• Something new came in the mail today.

  Unfortunately, it was not a watch. But the next best thing, some reading material...with lots of pics! My father was introduced to fine timepieces by me and although he is not a WIS he does enjoy seeing and hearing about any new watches I get. Well he sent me this book and I am thoroughly pleased with it.I like these two vintage IWC's.I love this picture of the Submariner's.Thanks for looking. ;)~........

  Hi, just started with the group and I'm having a great time reading the posts. I do need some help identifying this watch, though. It's currently being rebuilt, but i can't find any information on it other than is an AS 1882/83 1986 movement marked as Elgin 352 with case number 1501. It has a crown at 2:00 position to rotate internal bezel and one at 4:00 for winding and time set. Date is quick se........

• leather & steel band?

  Hi everyone, I am new here. I saw someone today with a nice looking watch that had a leather and steel combination band on it. Anyone know any particular watch that comes with such type of band? I can only find either ones with all leather or all steel bands. Thanks.........
